A: Droomers Consulting will design and document your building services as well as complete the Engineers Form 2 (Regulation A19). Our documentation including plans and Form 2 will then be issued to the architect who will submit to council.

A: For safety reasons, a new building may only be formally occupied once a certificate of occupancy has been issued. Where applicable, the following approval certificates might be required with your application:

• electrical compliance
• mechanical ventilation system compliance
• structural system compliance
• fire protection system compliance
• fire installation compliance
• energy efficiency compliance

A: Our fee structure is based on either a percentage of the installation cost or alternatively on a hourly basis. Our rates are in line with those recommended by the Engineering Council Of South Africa.
